This month we welcomed a new addition to the PWC staff, Rhonda Bergquist. She is taking on the job share position of Administration Coordinator for Sherry Kendrick’s retirement which is set for the end of October. Rhonda has been training with Sherry for a couple of weeks and has integrated easily to the team due to her cheerful personality and eagerness to learn.
Rhonda moved to the Okanagan from Burnaby mid-November of 2019. She comes to PWC with a diverse background and certifications in Business Administration, Management in Marketing Communications, Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist.
Sherry Kendrick has been a pillar for over 8 years working at PWC with her many skills, reliability and committed spirit toward the community. She has contributed to the evolution that the organization has been going through and PWC will miss her as part of the Staff team. Sherry will keep facilitating the Sunshine Singers as a Volunteer and will enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
PWC is continuing with ongoing efforts to keep the community informed about Programs and Services updates due to Covid-19 such as; changes in location for some Programs as well as which ones are on standby until further notice.
Some of our Programs and Services had to move to the 50+ Activity Centre due to limited space at the PWC premises under the Covid-19 restrictions. In accordance to PWC procedures, all new participants are required to pre-register at 250-767-0141 or email prior to email@example.com in order to comply with the maximum attendance regulations.
The current Programs and their locations are as follows:
