Welcome

Front signageWellness Bears 3People are at the heart of the Peachland Wellness Centre. The staff and volunteers run many programs and services to give you the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, tone your body, and even  your mind !

PWC programs include such diverse activities as the Breastfeeding Café, Monday Morning Coffee for women, the Men’s Coffee and Cribbage, the Speaker’s Series to discuss current events and topics, and the Writer’s Unblocked group who challenge your creative prose in a supportive environment.

Our Services include Outreach to assist the residents of Peachland in ways that enables them to remain independent in their homes for as long as possible; the Transportation service is provided by volunteer drivers to assist local residents to get to appointments at a low cost.  And the Resources and Referrals service connects people with various needs including lawn-cutting, snow-removal, BC Social Assistance or Central Intake at Interior Health.

The Peachland Wellness Centre operates through generous donations by the District of Peachland, the United Way of the Central  and South Okanagan/Similkameen, The Province of British Columbia, Central Okanagan Foundation, Valley First Credit Union, Telus, TNI Networks, TNI Employee Fund, Peachland Lions Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69, Kelowna Community Resources, and various fund-raising events throughout the year.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
